Japanese Defense Minister Taro Kono has instructed the country\’s military on how to respond to a U̳F̳O̳ incident.
Two years ago, the Japanese government spoke out on the topic of U̳F̳O̳s by stating that “no confirmation has been made of their existence”.
Then during a news conference on April 28th of this year, Defense Minister Taro Kono – spurred on by recent events in the US – indicated that he wanted Japan\’s own Self-Defense Forces to come up with a plan of action for dealing with any potential future encounters with such objects.
“We would like to establish procedures in the event an encounter is made with a U̳F̳O̳,” he said.
Now according to a new report from Japan, Kono has since taken steps to instruct the Japanese Self Defence Forces on what to do in the event of a UFO incursion.
Most importantly, military personnel should attempt to record the object as best they can and write down full details of the encounter and the object’s behavior.
The SDF has also been tasked with analyzing the data and investigating any credible sightings.
So far however, there have been no reports of military encounters with UFOs in the region.
